About Us
Seattle Equine Performance was launched in 2020 in response to increasing client interest in convenient access to the expertise of equine veterinarians skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of lameness and maximizing the performance potential of the equine athlete. As an ambulatory veterinary practice, this new service is a full-time Washington-based satellite of Northwest Equine Performance (NWEP).
NWEP was founded in 2002 in Mulino, Oregon, by Dr. Mark Revenaugh, a competitive eventer who poured his passion for equine athletes into a career in veterinary medicine focused on sport horses. Dr. Rachel Gottlieb joined him in the practice a decade later and quickly became recognized for her expertise in ultrasound diagnostics and rehabilitative work. Dr. Gottlieb is now partnered with Dr. Revenaugh in the launch of Seattle Equine Performance.
Drs. Revenaugh and Gottlieb, along with a team of specialized equine veterinarians, veterinary technicians and staff, have broadened their reach as the premier equine sports medicine practice in the Northwest and adjacent states. Dr. Revenaugh continues to be based out of Mulino, OR, where his family lives next to the main barn and treatment facilities, including a standing MRI. Dr. Gottlieb has moved with her family to Woodinville, WA, and brings specialty services to clients throughout the state.
